Learning to Talk

Babies are wired to learn to talk.  It's part of being human.  But, learning to talk includes much more than just saying words.  They learn to communicate.  And during the first 3 years when they are learning vocabulary, sentence structure and how to express themselves,  the amount and variety of words they interact with, understand, and use has implications for the rest of their life.  That's because all of those words, experiences, and language skills  are the foundation for their future learning, social-emotional development, health and well being, even their potential in life.  A lot is happening in those the first 36 months of life.
